Swimming in the lake is fantastic but always pay attention to the weather conditions: the winds that are so loved by windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing enthusiasts create waves that are not suitable for swimming. Swimming is not allowed in the area where the River Sarca flows into the lake and is well signposted.

Not far from our Hotel in Riva del Garda there are also a few small lakes nestling in the mountains: they are lakes Tenno, Ledro, Lagolo, Terlago and Lamar. They are certainly smaller than Lake Garda but no less fascinating and provide days of relaxation and swimming and diving in the clear water. On the grassy shores there are many bars and restaurants as well as places to hire canoes, kayaks as well as to try a wakeboard.

In addition to our semi-Olympic outdoor pool in Riva del Garda you can also train in the Enrico Meroni indoor public pool; here the lanes reserved for free swimming are the ideal solution on rainy days. Once a week there are also coloured inflatables for children to have fun on in the pool!
